GDPR and you

If you store digital information about your customers, you should be aware that they hold the whip hand from this May.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force in May 2018.

The aim is to tighten up on data protection by giving more control to consumers on how businesses like yours gather and use information about them.

Obviously, this applies far more to the Big Boys like Amazon than it does to small, independent health food stores, but you can be sure there will be someone who wants to hold you to account. Yes, there’s always one!
